Castlegore Amateur Flute Band was established in 1946. The band rehearses in Whappstown Old Public Elementary School (Castlegore Band Hall) on the Whappstown Road, Moorfields, between Ballymena and Ballyclare in Co. Antrim. As marching band, we regularly participate at Loyal Orange Lodge (LOL) and Royal Black Preceptory (RBP) demonstrations, British Legion parades and other local community engagements. The band also competes in the Flute Band Association of Northern Ireland competitions and the North of Ireland Bands Association contest.

Castlegore Amateur Flute Band prides itself on playing a wide range of music. Our repertoire includes:- British military marches, traditional Ulster flute band marches, sacred/gospel music and classical music arranged for flute ensemble orchestration.
